Family Counseling — Victoria, Texas
South Texas Children’s Home Ministries (STCH Ministries) Family Counseling currently has an opening for a Family Counseling Therapist serving our counseling office in Victoria, TX. Applicants must be a licensed counselor or licensed counseling intern; have passed the National Counseling Exam (NCE); and hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university. In addition, applicants must be willing to do play therapy.
The candidate for this position will play a front-line role in serving children and families in need through the Family Counseling ministry of STCH Ministries. The Therapist will foster social, behavioral, personal, and spiritual growth for clients and families through professional therapy. The Family Therapist will also teach and present seminar material as opportunities are available and as requested by STCH Ministries staff leadership. Additionally, the Family Therapist must understand and support the mission of STCH Ministries and its programs and faith tradition.
